Nasa Astronaut is voting from space

View this post on Instagram

Millions of Americans will be filling out ballots for the upcoming election, and at least one vote will be cast some 200 miles above the Earth. NASA astronaut and flight engineer Kate Rubins plans to vote from the International Space Station, NASA confirmed to CNN, where she'll be stationed during the voting period.⁣ ⁣ Here’s how voting from space will work in 2020, according to NASA: The Harris County Clerk's Office will upload a secure electronic ballot to NASA's Johnson Space Center Mission Control Center. The astronaut will then use their specific credentials to access the ballot and cast their vote, which is delivered back to the county clerk's office by email. ⁣ (📸: Andrey Shelepin/GCTC/NASA/AP)⁣
